Public Health

MBC’s Public Health projects track the wellbeing of Black Californians across the state, from COVID-19’s impact and vaccine access to the everyday conditions, like food access and air quality, that shape community health. Featuring the Racism as a Public Health Crisis declarations tracker, which recognizes racism itself as a driver of health outcomes. Together, they turn public health data into a tool for advocacy and equitable care.
